Coldharbour's Homestead Site
We have a lovely 12-acre homestead site, centrally located on our 334 acre ranch. This site is home to historic structures, active demonstration of many of our initiatives, and where most of the activity happens on our ranch.
Historic structures on the property include:
1912 sandstone ranch house which received county historic designation in 2012
1909 barn foundation of stone to be rebuilt into an educational center, receiving county historic designation in 2015
a beautiful log three-sided “loafing shed” from the 1930’s
ancillary historic vacation “cabins” that the Clark's moved to the property in the 1980s to begin the center
Conceptual plan completed in 2016 during our design charrette process, learn more about the process here.
Development Plan is under review and will be presented to the public in late March. More info to follow.
