The Coldharbour Ranch is a living laboratory where education, research, and applied practice come together. Whether you're joining a workshop, volunteering, attending a community event, or partnering on a research project, a visit to Coldharbour offers the opportunity to connect with the land and the people working to care for it.

This hands-on training workshop teaches the principles and benefits of biochar, including its production and application as a soil amendment and a tool for environmental remediation. Participants will gain hands-on experience using the ring-of-fire kiln and other kilns and learn how to apply biochar to improve soil.
